Siblings

Siblings ... what can I say? You love them, you hate them, you need them, and you fight and then make up. Siblings are people you have to grow up with and grow into loving because they're the people who your with for part of your life. They teach you lessons even though you might not see it that way in the moment because you think they're annoying. But they will help you learn how to be social with people and have relationships with others because it's like you're practicing on them for yourself. They practically teach you how to live with someone else and how to talk to boys/girls and build relationships with them.
Siblings fight mostly all the time over stupid things you probably don't even remembered that happened, but eventually you'll get over it and become best friends again! You will always stick up for each other if someone else insults them because that's your "bestfriend"
However some people either never see their siblings or get along with them. Everyone's relationship with their siblings are different especially you're the younger or older sibling. Older siblings usually feel obligated to look after their younger brother/sister or are annoyed by them because they usually get all the attention. They youngest sibling probably hates their older sibling because they get everything first like the car, the parties, and a later curfew. Building a relationship with your sibling isn't easy because you go through so many things together: you share a home and sort of share a life (depending on how you look at it). Siblings are like you friends accept you have to tolerate them and you can't just cut them off because they'll always be around even if you don't want them there. You should probably cherish your sibling while your still young because once you grow up you might not see each other again, you might chose different life styles and may never have time to see each other again.
People who don't have siblings won't understand how hard it is or how fun it is to grow up with someone who will look out for you and understand you or even teach you valuable lessons, parents can only go so far with teaching you things. Imagine if you didn't have the sibling(s) you had today; who would you share your feelings with that you'll never tell your parents or friends?, how could you experience how to deal with arguments and keeping grudges without affecting your social life?

Drugs ... Its Just A Little Weed

Today in class my teacher told us to write about what we thought was wrong with teens drinking and smoking a little weed. This made me actually think what was wrong with teens doing these things, but mostly the affect.
I know of many people who may smoke weed or drink and don't believe there is anything wrong with it. However, they seize to think of the consequences or outcome of doing these things and how they could affect you.
I'm sure many people have told you don't drink or smoke, it's bad for you and you probably didn't really listen because you thought nothing will ever happen to you and you won't be that person, but you never know what your capable of when your under the influence.
Think of it like this, what if you were at a party doing these things and you said you were only going to drink or smoke a little, but you're peer pressured you to do more. Come on man you already started you might as well finish, don't be a pu**y. Now you're drunk and not acting like yourself and your peers think it's funny and laugh at you. This is your first time drinking and you pass out, your peers just take pictures and draw on your face. Little do they know you chocked on your own vomit and your dead. No one helped you, they just stood around thinking someone else would do something and now you're dead because of that little more liquor.
Weed is no different, it's just a gateway to try other drugs. Once you get tired of weed you might try pills or cocaine. It's also ILLEAGAL, you're breaking the law. What if one day you buy or get weed from someone you don't really know or someone you thought you knew and it's laced with another dangerous drug. You don't realize it and you go crazy from it and hurt yourself? What if you get caught with it and your arrested?
You can't think in the moment, you have to think of what can be the outcome after you drink or smoke, even if it's a little because that's how it starts off.

The Truth About High School

You hear all these good things about high school and how it's fun and you'll make new friends, and sing kumbaya, but is that really the truth? Well I'm here to tell you its not! It's not like the movies about high school you saw as a child like, High School Musical. High school is full of phonies, thots, cliques, ratchets, and annoying people.

On the first day of school, as a freshman, you have this image perceived of how school is going to be and your pretty much gullible to everything. As time progresses and you get to know the school and see the people, you start to realize everything was a lie. People who are your best friends will stab you in the back and you'll realize that they never were your friend. If your a girl the main reason is probably over a boy, if your a guy its probably over something stupid about hanging each other.

Then you'll go through many relationships that may end badly and ruin your reputation. Rumors spread like a wildfire and its like a game of telephone, it always gets changed up. However, everyone will soon forget about it because a new rumor would come around tomorrow. You go through friends faster than lightning, some last for long periods and others will last for one year.

Then there's the cliques! That's one things the movies did got right! There's the jerks, sports team, clubs, the know it alls, the ethnic groups, the loners, the pot heads, the ratchets, and the people who eat breath and sleep school. In high school there is no normal, everyone is different and you'll find where you belong, even if that is alone.

The one thing i hate is couples in the hallway who aren't ashamed of PDA, but nobody wants to see them suck each others faces off! However, You have to keep an open mind in high school because everything's different, it's a new environment.

Don't get me wrong though high school is fun .. it's a new experience. But don't forget you still have work to do, it is high school and i suggest you take it serious because time goes by fast. You have to manage a social life and an education while worrying about tons of other things. Don't let the social aspect of high school gas your head up, girls will always be there and so would guys... don't be a thot. Lastly, I just want to leave you with one thing: you make YOUR OWN decisions, don't be influenced to do bad things by your "friends."
